Suzuki launch the GSX1250FA ST

Suzuki have launched their amazing value sports tourer the Suzuki GSX1250FA ST based on the successful 1250 Bandit.
This new ST version adds 33 litre panniers (per side) and a 37 litre top box with its competitive price point that sees it retail £2,000 less than some considered rivals!

Suzuki GSX-R1000 25th Anniversary limited edition launched

Suzuki GB have released details of the very special limited edition 25th Anniversary GSX-R1000, of which only 25 will be coming to the UK.

Featuring a bespoke white colour-scheme with special GSX-R anniversary logos, numbered top yoke plaque, Yoshimura 25th anniversary exhaust cans with engraved end plates, laser-etched wheel rim graphics and a certificate of authenticity.

Additionally Showa Big Piston Forks offer enhanced control and maneuverability, a redesigned engine with improved performance and a shorter wheelbase to aid sharper turning.

Suzuki Skydrave

suzuki Skydrive adalah gacoan baru kelas automaticnya/maticnya Suzuki. Sedari dulu sejak Suzuki mulai memperkanalkan type  automatic, saya belum ada yang cocok, baik secara desain ataupun tongkrongan. Sampai akhirnya tadi pagi ada saudara saya Muhammad Bardi, yang menawarkan type terbaru hasil Regenarsi atau bahasa kerennya faceliftnya Spin. Suzuki Skydrive adalah automatic motorcycle yang bermesin 125cc.
Suzuki Skydrive 125cc ini adalah termasuk kelas automatic yang saya sebut maticnya terbaru Suzuki. Waktu Suzuki mencoba masuk kelas matic, tidak ada satupun produk yang menarik hati saya. Bagi saya desainnya masih sangat kaku dan kurang cocok untuk diri saya Tapi dengan berat hati setelah Suzuki Skydrive 125 ini muncul perasaan kuno langsung hilang. Betapa tidak, sedari dulu matic idaman saya Mio Soul yang lebih gagah dibanding Mio standar akhirnya terpatahkan oleh sang Skydrive ini.
Untuk kelas matic, Roda dari Skydrive ini termasuk yang terbesar, seperti yang kita tau, rata rata roda matic hanya 275 tapi Suzuki Skydrive bermain dengan 300. Untuk warna? warna bisa dibilang antik dan unique, mulai dari merah, biru, perak dan emas dan tentu saja hitam. Seperti Suzuki Masa lalu saya yang heboh dengan Adira Financenya yang berwarna biru, Skydrive saya inpun kembali saya ambil corak biru dengan lebih nuansa metalicnya ;)

Gimana dengan tongkrongan?

Mantap dan tak terkira, kalau perlu bukti? silahkan coba tengok dari beberapa tangkapan lensa saya ini.

Konsumsi Bahan Bakar?

Berdasar informasi, konsumsi bahan bakar Skydrive 125 termasuk irit, dengan 1liter bensin, kita bisa tempuh 45km atau bisa sampai 50km dengan mode ngirit atau setidaknya bisa sampai 40km. Lumayan ngirit untuk kelas matic bukan?

All new fuel injected Suzuki RM-Z250

Suzuki now introduces fuel injection to the motocross RM-Z250, due in dealers this autumn apparently! Plus the frame swing arm and engine has had updates, read more here.

Suzuki Burgman 40th birthday model!

To celebrate 10 years of the Suzuki Burgman, Suzuki have a lunched a new luxury version of this scooter, the Burgman 400ZA. The new ZA model offers luxury extras such as ABS, heated grips, large hand guards, a passenger backrest, a wood patterned instrument panel, titanium coloured wheels and a smart new brown seat.

For riders who don't require the added luxury of the ZA, the standard Burgman 400 is still available.

Suzuki Recalls 2005-2006 GSX-R1000 Motorcycles for Frame Crack

Suzuki has issued a recall of certain 2005-2006 GSX-R1000 motorcycles.

American Suzuki (Suzuki) is conducting a safety improvement campaign involving 26,082 model year 2005-2006 GSX-R1000 motorcycles. Cracking or breakage of the motorcycle frame can occur in certain extreme situations where unusually high stress is placed on the frame. Repeated hard landings from hazardous maneuvers such as extreme or extended wheelies or other stunts may generate sufficient stress to cause this problem.

26082 units are affected.

SISTEM KELISTRIKAN

Pada dasarnya sistem kelistrikan untuk UW 125 adalah sama dengan model sepeda motor tipe underbone Suzuki lainnya namun ada sedikit perbedaan pada sistem starting motor. Berikut ini akan diuraikan beberapa sistem kelistrikan pada UW 125 :

Ø  Sistem Pengapian

Sistem pengapian UW 125 menerapkan sistem pengapian DC-CDI, yangmana dengan sistem pengapian ini, besarnya api pada busi tidak dipengaruhi oleh putaran mesin. Dan pada kecepatan rendah sekalipun, api yang dihasilkan busi tetap besar. Waktu pengapianpun diatur dengan tepat oleh ignition timing control circuit sesuai kebutuhan.

Ø  Sistem Pengisian Dan Penerangan

Sistem pengisian dan penerangan pada UW 125 memiliki sistem yang sama dengan model sepeda motor tipe underbone Suzuki lainnya. Pada sistem pengisian, UW 125 mengaplikasikan stator assy 1 fase yangmana tegangan yang dihasilkannya digunakan untuk melakukan pengisian tegangan terhadap battery berkapasitas 12V 3.5 Ah/10HR dengan tipe maintenance free. Sedangkan untuk sistem penerangan, UW 125 mengaplikasikan sistem penerangan AC untuk penerangan lampu depan dan lampu belakang

KOMPONEN KELISTRIKAN

Berikut ini akan ditampilkan letak dari masing-masing komponen kelistrikan pada UW 125

Ø  Lampu Depan & Lampu Sein

Lampu depan UW 125 dilengkapi dengan dua lampu utama dan dua lampu senja yang di tempatkan pada sisi kiri dan kanan front leg shield cover dengan desain reflektor yang lebih besar. Letak lampu sein UW 125 menyatu dengan lampu utama dengan desain yang trendy dan dinamis.

Ø  Speedometer

Speedometer UW 125 di desain lebih menarik dan dilengkapi pula dengan fuel level gaug

Ø  Battery

UW 125 mengaplikasikan maintenance free battery untuk memudahkan pengendara dalam hal perawatan battery. Pengendara tidak perlu lagi melakukan pengecekan kapaitas air accu dan pengisian air accu seperti yang dilakukan pada battery konvensional. Selain itu posisi battery terletak di tengah frame front cover hanya membuka frame side left cover sehingga mudah dijangkau.

Ø  Lampu Belakang

Lampu belakang UW 125 di desain tidak menggunakan bohlam biasa, sehingga tidak terjadi kerusakan filament, yang membuatnya bebas perawatan serta konsumsi listrik yang kecil sehingga lebih menghemat battery.

Motion Pro Recalls Aftermarket Brake Levers for Suzuki Motorcycles

I usually only publish motorcycle recalls specific to the manufacturer but I'm making an exception in this aftermarket case involving Motion Pro and Suzuki.

Motion Pro, Inc. is recalling 10,000 aftermarket brake levers, model no. 14-0415, sold for use on certain 1999-2008 Suzuki motorcycles.

The lobe height on some of these levers are smaller and do not properly engage the stomp lamp switch which will not deactivate when the drive releases the brake lever. If this occurs, the stop lamp will remain on which could possibly result in a crash.

10,000 Suzuki motorcycles are affected.

Suzuki Recalls 2008 GSX1300R Model for Improper Routing of Ignition Switch Wiring

Suzuki has issued a recall of certain 2008 GSX1300R motorcycles.

Improper routing of the ignition switch wiring harness can cause a bent portion of the wiring harness to flex rather than slide when the handlebar is moved from right to left or left to right. Repeated side-to-side movement of the handlebar, and flexing of the bent portion wiring harness, can eventually cause the ignition switch lead wires to become cut or broken. This can result in intermittent or complete loss of electrical power, which can result in loss of lighting and/or stalling of the engine, increasing the risk of a crash.

9109 units are affected.

Suzuki Recalls GS500 and GZ250 Motorcycles for Electrical Problem

Suzuki has issued a recall of certain 2004-2007 GS500 and 2002-2007 GZ250 motorcycles.

The rear reflex reflector on affected GS500 motorcycles and the rear and side reflex reflectors on affected GZ250 motorcycles fail to conform to the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard No. 108, 'Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment.' The reflex reflectors have a reflected light output at some measurement angles that is less than the minimum output required by the standard. It is possible that this could contribute to a motorist's not noticing the motorcycle in darkness, which may contribute to a crash.

28221 units are affected.
